Artifact UX LLC is a U.S.-based design consultancy founded by Patrick Kuntz to provide senior-level UX and product design leadership to agencies, product studios, and SaaS startups and product teams in the U.S. and EU.
What you're getting
I’m a full-stack UX practitioner with 20+ years of UX and product design experience across SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, and B2B platforms, including work in highly regulated industries like healthcare and finance. I've worked with national agencies, regional studios, and directly with client-side startup product teams. The throughline is the same: I show up, I get up to speed fast, and I deliver outcomes.
The practice is built on a simple premise: growing companies need experienced UX leadership, but they can’t always justify a full-time hire.
How it works
I operate as an embedded member of your team — Slack, email, meetings, the whole nine yards. I'm available during U.S. working hours. Point me at the problem, give me access to the people and the data, and I'll run with it. If there's a team to lead, I'll lead it. If I'm the only designer on the engagement, that's fine too.
What's next
Artifact is a solo practice today, with plans to bring in additional senior UX talent as the work grows. The standard stays the same: experienced practitioners who can operate independently and deliver at a high level without hand-holding.
