Artifact UX LLC is a U.S.-based design consultancy founded by Patrick Kuntz to provide senior-level UX and product design leadership to agencies, product studios, SaaS startups and product teams in the U.S. and EU.
The practice is built on a simple premise: growing companies need experienced UX leadership, but they don’t always need a full-time UX hire.

What you're getting
We are full-stack UX practitioners, each with 10-20 years of UX and product design experience across SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, and B2B platforms, including work in highly regulated industries like healthcare and finance. We've worked with national agencies, regional studios, and directly with client-side startup product teams. The throughline is the same: We show up, we get up to speed fast, and we deliver outcomes.
We love diving into a project at the deep end, where the water is murky, and people are uncomfortable talking about what might lurk down there. We’ll jettison the detritus and polish up the gems.
How it works
We operate as an embedded member of your product or project team. We’re in Slack, email, meeting cadences, the whole nine yards. We are available during U.S. or EU working hours. Point us at the problem, give us access to the people and the data, and we'll run with it. If there's a team, we'll lead it. If we are the team, that's fine too.
