Artifact UX LLC is a U.S.-based design consultancy founded by Patrick Kuntz to provide senior-level UX and product design leadership to agencies, product studios, SaaS startups and product teams in the U.S. and EU.
The practice is built on a simple premise: growing companies need experienced UX leadership, but they don’t always need a full-time UX hire.

What you're getting
I’m a full-stack UX practitioner with 20+ years of UX and product design experience across SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare, and B2B platforms, including work in highly regulated industries like healthcare and finance. I've worked with national agencies, regional studios, and directly with client-side startup product teams. The throughline is the same: I show up, I get up to speed fast, and I deliver outcomes.
I love diving into a project at the deep end, where the water is murky, and people are uncomfortable talking about what might lurk down there. Just let me at it. We’ll jettison the detritus and polish up the gems.
How it works
I operate as an embedded member of your product or project team. I’m in Slack, email, meeting cadences, the whole nine yards. I'm available during U.S. working hours. Point me at the problem, give me access to the people and the data, and I'll run with it. If there's a team, I'll lead it. If I am the team, that's fine too.
